Langate Shuts to Demand Mortal Body of Slain Muzaffar

A complets shutdown is being observed in Langate area of Kupwara in North Kashmir to demand the Mortal remains of Muzaffar Ahmed who was killed in Rafiabad Gunfight on Wednesday.

Shops, educational institutes are shut in the area while traffic is majorly off the roads.

A family from Langate in North Kashmir has claimed that one among the five militants killed in Rafiabad forests was their kin.

As per reports, Bashir Ahmad Mir, a resident of Langate, approached the police, claiming that one among the slain militants was Muzaffar Ahmad Mir, his son.

The family said that they identified Muzaffar through pictures that have gone viral on social media adding that Muzaffar had gone missing a week ago from his home in Langate.

Meanwhile another photo of Muzaffar without a gun claiming that he had joined Lashkar e Taiba has gone viral, but only after the encounter happened.

Five Militants had been killed in an Anti Militancy operation in Rafiabad on Wednesday after which the Government Forces declared the slain Militants as ‘Foreign Nationals.’
