Lashkar e Taiba seems be gaining strong ground in Kashmir after the death of their divisional commander, Shakoor Ahmed Dar.
Shakoor Ahmed Dar who is believed to have activated the belts like Damhal where 75 per cent people had casted their franchise during 2014 elections was belived to be a top recruiter for Lashkar e Taiba.
Shakoor Ahmed Dar apart from being the close aide of Majid Zargar, Bashir Lashkar and others is believed to have had ties with Burhan Wani too.
Since yesterday, seven youth including a Police Officer have reportedly joined the Militant outfit Lashkar e Taiba.
The Last three youth to join Militant ranks Adil Ahmed Pal, Arshid Khan and Zahid Ahmed Bhat, all resident of South Kashmir.

Arshid Ahmed Khan Son of Bashir Ahmed Khan is a B.Sc Student and is from the Ganopora area of South Kashmir’s Shopian District.
Adil Ahmed pal, the third youth to join Lashkar e Taiba is from Maldera area of Shopian District.
Earlier, Tariq Ahmed Bhat, a Policeman Who had decamped with his service rifle in April this year from pakherpora had posed with a gun announcing that he has joined Lashkar e Taiba.

Zahoor Ahmed Lone, another youth from Nag Naad, Noorabad in Damhal area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam District has also joined Militant outfit Lashkar e Taiba.
Ufaid Farooq from Awantipora in South Kashmir had also joined the organization earlier.
Despite encounters and intensified Anti Militancy operations launched in Kashmir valley, the same are not producing desired results.
The Kashmiriyat has the reports of at least 90 local Youth to have had joined the Militant ranks this year so Far.
South Kashmir has been the epicenter of the new Home grown Militancy challenging the Indian rule on Kashmir.
Many more youth from South Kashmir areas including one from Armulla Lassipora, Kulgam Districts, Shopian and Islamabad districts are missing,
