On Saturday, JK-PDP’s general secretary Mehboob Beigh addressing a Press Conference, here at Srinagar, said that Kashmiris are not “untouchables” and are humans. And just like ‘black lives matter,’ Kashmiri lives matter, too.
General Secretary PDP, Mehboob Beigh, told The Kashmiriyat that mainstream parties have lost confidence among the masses and that it was time to move on and fight unanimously with the center to get Article 370 and 35A restored.
Adding that the way center revoked farm bills, “it should do the same with Jammu and Kashmir to reverse its decision about Article 370, and win the hearts of people,” he said.
“It’s a good sign that people fought collectively in demanding the dead bodies of civilians who were killed in Hyderpora shoot out,” he said.
He also said that the militants who were killed this year, and whose bodies were buried away from their homes, should be returned to their families.
