Lockdown on Public Movement- Cricket Match is fine here in Handwara

Amid continued restrictions on the movement of people in wake of Covid-19, a cricket match was held in Handwara town of Kupwara District in North Kashmir on Wednesday.
Eyewitnesses told The Kashmiriyat that  scores of spectators were seen spectating the cricket match between the two local teams in  Ganapora area of Kralgund in Handwara.
The authorities in a fresh directive on Tuesday extended lockdown period up to July 25 in the town in wake of the rising cases of Coronavirus in the district.
The business establishments had been asked to shut and the movement of Public was restricted too, however the cricket match was allowed to happen.
Eyewitnesses said that a large number of people were seen violating the physical distancing norms and most of them were without masks.
An official upon being contacted said the he will look into the matter.
