Man Detained By Forces, Brought to Islamabad Hospital with Slit Throat

A man with a slit throat was brought to the District hospital of Islamabad (Anantnag) in South Kashmir on Thursday afternoon.

Hospital Sources told The Kashmiriyat that a man with a slit throat was brought to the hospital by some unknown persons and dropped straight outside the operation theater.

The Doctors rushed him to the operation theater where he is currently undergoing surgery.

Sources told The Kashmiriyat that the man is Feroz Ahmed Hajam son of Ghulam Rasool Hajam, a resident of Khrachi in Kokernag Islamabad (Anantnag).

Locals told The Kashmiriyat that the Feroz was detained by the Forces and later his body was taken to District hospital Islamabad with a slit throat.

Police officials while confirming the incident said that Feroz was being questioned when he went inside the washroom to answer nature’s call, inside the washroom he slit his throat.

He was immediately rushed to the district hospital, They added that he was a ‘Jaish e Muhammad’ suspect.

Feroz as per reports was a student of Idara Tehqiqat e Islami which was founded by slain Mirwaiz of South Kashmir, Dr. Qazi Nisar.

Feroz also runs a joint shop with his brother, in Islamabad town, they deal with the cloth business, last winter Feroz had escaped a near death, when he fell down while falling down from the roof of his shop in Islamabad (Anantnag) town while repairing a tarpaulin on a rainy day.  (The Kashmiriyat)
