During extraction of boulders from Rambiara in South Kashmir’s Shopian JCB overturned resulting in the on-spot death of a worker.
Official sources told news agency Kashmir News Trust that the incident occurred at Ganopora Balapora village during the extraction process.
They identified the victim as Bilal Ahmed Lone, a resident of Balpora Shopian.
Police in this regard registered a case under relevant sections of law. (KNT)
