A man has allegedly killed his elder brother on Wednesday during a confrontation over a land dispute in Rajouri district of the Jammu region.
A Police official told The Kashmiriyat that two brothers from Chingus area of Rajouri had a confrontation over a land dispute and the duo entered into a scuffle on Wednesday.
During the confrontation, the 46-year-old Muhammad Aslam, son of Faqir Muhammad attacked his elder brother with an axe, leaving him critically wounded.
The injured, Mohammed Sharif was shifted to Government Medical College (GMC) Hospital Rajouri in a critical condition, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The official said that the accused Muhammad Aslam is absconding.
