In a major tragedy, a man fired upon his wife in village Dhool area of District Kishtwar in the Chenab Valley on Monday afternoon.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that a man, identified as Arif Hussain fired upon his wife with his 12 bore gun injuring her critically.
It’s is said that there was a minor scuffle between the couple which led to this incident.
A Police official conforming the incident to The Kashmiriyat said that the accused has been identified as Arif Hussain, a resident of khanpora Dhool, while the victim has been identified as been Identified as Rubina Begum age about 24 years.
The injured lady was shifted to District Hospital Kishtwar from where she was later referred to GMC Jammu for further medical treatment.
The official said that Police have registered a case and started investigation.
