Masroor Abbas Mir, the class 10 student, who had gone missing from Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) has been traced by the Aligarh Police, they tweet in response to The Kashmiriyat’s tweet.
“A high alert was issued by the police under Operation Khushi, it was reported that this boy has been found in his home district, in the investigation, the above boy was found to have left of his own free will,” Aligarh Police tweeted.

Meanwhile, Jammu Kashmir Police said that the boy was traced from the railway station in Sopore, from where he was taken to the Police station in Sopore.
A family member of the 16-year-old boy confirmed the development to the Kashmiriyat and said Masroor is right now with the Sopore Police station who have taken him for questioning.
Masroor Abbas Mir, (16), a resident of Bohripora area of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district had gone missing from AMU on December 08, when he had left his hostel at 8 am for the school.
The family members thanked Kashmiris and the Aligarh police who coordinated with the family to help them trace the boy.
