The Meteorological Department has forecasted intermittent light to moderate rains and thundershowers across many parts of Jammu and Kashmir until July 24.
According to a Meteorological official, the weather is expected to be generally cloudy with intermittent light to moderate rains and thundershowers at numerous locations in Jammu Kashmir until July 18.
From July 19 to 21, the weather conditions are likely to be partly to generally cloudy with brief intermittent spells of rains and thundershowers at isolated to scattered places in Jammu & Kashmir.
Continuing from July 22 to 24, the weather is anticipated to remain generally cloudy with intermittent spells of rain and thundershowers at many places.
The official also cautioned that intense showers may occur briefly during this period, possibly leading to landslides, mudslides, and shooting stones at vulnerable locations.
