
On Monday evening, suspected militants attacked a police bus in the outskirts of central Kashmir’s Srinagar city. The attack took place at Zewan Pantha Chowk, Srinagar.
Sources say that as many as eight policemen were injured after the firing incident among which the condition of four is stated to be critical. The injured have been shifted to a Srinagar hospital for further treatment.
Reports said that 9th battalion of Jammu and Kashmir Armed police was travelling in a bus when they came under attack.
As per reports, the area has been cordoned off and a massive search operation has been launched to nab the attackers.
