A 13-year-old boy drowned in river Jhelum near in Qamarwari’s Bilal Colony locality of Srinagar district on Monday afternoon.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that Mohammed Arif Sheikh drowned in the Jhelum river when he along with some boys was taking bath in the river.
As the incident was reported, the Jammu Kashmir Police and and a team of SDRF rushed to the spot and are still on job to fish out the body of this Minor boy.
Mohammed Arif Sheikh is a son of Tariq Ahmad Sheikh and a resident of Babapora Barthana locality of Qamarwari in Srinagar.
