The Ukrainian Presidential Office on Sunday confirmed that negotiations between Ukraine and Russia have begun near Pripyat River in Belarus,
Earlier the leaders of Ukraine and Belarus agreed on the meeting with the Russian delegation on the Pripyat River without preconditions.
Pripyat River is located right across the frontier between Belarus and Ukraine, and the waterway then runs down to Chernobyl in the south.
The Belarusian leader reportedly is making sure all aviation forces in the area are grounded.
