Sunil Dimple, the president Jammu west assembly movement sat on one day hunger strike in Jammu, for the restoration of Statehood, strengthening of PRC and for the withdrawal of domicile Certificate.
He demanded PM Modi to pass an ordinance that the J&K govt jobs will only be given to the PRC, state subject holders.
Dimple says that Imposition of domicile certificate, SRO 202 is murder of democracy and is against the wishes of youth of Jammu and kashmir.
Dimple demanded that govt jobs should be reserved for people of Jammu and Kashmir only, on the basis of hereditary PRC State subject and no outsider should be given govt jobs here.
” I request PM Modi to withdraw the domicile certificate process which gives J&K govt jobs to the people from Other states”.
He said his other issues are SRO 202, Reinstate of SRO 24, regularization Of Rehbray Sehat, Khel, Zerat, Janglat, Taleem, regularization of NYC corps and all Daily wagers of J&K, Stop Privatization of PDD Department & Stop the Toll plaza etc.
He said the twenty Lakh outsiders living in jammu Kashmir have become eligible for the domicile and j&k govt jobs.
He demanded Prime minister Narinder Modi to restore our special status with statehood to jammu Kashmir.
As anti people draconian laws are everyday being imposed on us,Dimple said the j&k Govt has made the domicile certificate compulsory for all the Jammu Kashmir govt jobs, class four posts, made PRC state subject an irrelevant document and now people from other states have started filling up the application forms for the govt jobs.
Dimple said we have been agitating very peacefully since long against domicile rules , for continuation of PRC / state subject , restoration of statehood with special status.
He said the central and jammu Kashmir Government is not considering our demands and these public welfare issues.
He said in a democracy all public related decisions are taken after taking all the stakeholders on board.
He said this is the domain of public representatives i.e Legislatures whom people elect and represent the aspirations of their electorates.
He said as of now since there is no institution of public representatives the decisions taken by LG’s administration on all above mentioned issues are not acceptable.
He said keeping in view the extraordinary situation that arose due to Covid-19 pandemic outbreak, China’s aggression on borders & engagement of security forces in fighting the terrorism, we have not come on the roads to fight for our legitimate demands as hereditary residents of J&K and have been projecting our demands through our modes of protests.
Dimple said this is very unfortunate on the side of the govt, that in spite of the opposition from the people and against their wishes, the BJP govt is adamant to impose domicile in j&k.
Dimple appealed the prime minister Narinder Modi and BJP to clear their stand as to why the recruitment of the jammu Kashmir govt jobs curtailed for the PRC holders youths?
