As Rains/snow has lashed J&K in last 24 hours while no major change is expected today besides that another wet spell is expected in J&K from 9-11 November.
An official of MeT told KNA that rain/snow at most places of J&K with snowfall over higher reaches was recorded in last 24 hours and no large change is expected today.
Tomorrow, weather will be generally cloudy and light snow may occur over higher reaches, although chances are less, he said and from 9-11th Nov, there are chances of Widespread Rain/Snowfall over higher reaches are expected and improvement from 11th.
Snowfall & low temp. may led to temporary disruption of surface transportation, mainly over Zojila, Jmu-Srinagar HW, Leh-Manali oad etc. On 7th & 9-11th, official said.
Prior to embark on journey, Know status of road from Traffic police to avoid inconveniences and ravellers on major passes are advised to carry sufficient food items, warm shoe, clothes etc. With them as road condition remain uncertain during inclement weather, he said. (KNA)
