The Government Forces on Monday evening launched Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in the Putrigam area of the Pulwama district of South Kashmir.
An official told The Kashmiriyat that a search operation has been launched jointly by forces including 53 RR of the Indian Army, Jammu Kashmir Police, and CRPF in Putrigam area of Pulwama.
All the entry and exit points of the area have been sealed on Monday evening, and a door-to-door search operation has begun, Locals told The Kashmiriyat.
Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) was launched as an Anti Militancy operation on May 2, 2017, amid a rise in the local recruitment into Militant groups in the Kashmir valley.
