Nocturnal Raids Continue in South Kashmir- At least 3 Arrested

The Government Forces raided the Chillipora and Sugan areas in South Kashmir’s Shopian District late night on Friday and arrested at least three boys from the area.

Locals speaking to The Kashmiriyat said that Government Forces late night on Friday broke into a few residential houses in Chillipora and Sugan areas and arrested three boys from their houses.

Ishfaq Ahmed Dar is a cousin of Shakeel Ahmed Dar, an affiliate of Al Badr Militant Outfit.

The Government Forces have been conducting nocturnal raids in Kashmir since 2010 when an uprising began in the aftermath of killing of a teenage boy Tufail Ahmed Matoo and thousands of boys have been arrested from their houses in the dark of the night.
