One person died while another injured in a road mishap in Jammu division on Saturday, officials said.
An official told Srinagar-based news agency Kashmir Scroll (KS) that in one incident, a person identified as Mangta, son of Chirag Din (57), of Vill Rajpura Kollar Samba, was declared dead by doctors at GMC Jammu.
The officer said that the deceased was critically injured in a road mishap.
In another case, Irfan Ahmad, son of Sultan Mohd (18) of Ban Toll Plaza Nagrota, was hit by a motorcyclist; however, he was immediately admitted to GMC Jammu for advanced treatment.
Meanwhile, police took cognizance of both road mishaps. (KS)
