Three laborers were critically injured after a trench collapsed and fell down on them in the Durpora area of Khiram in the Bijbehara belt of South Kashmir.
An official told The Kashmiriyat that on Monday morning, three persons were injured after an under-construction trench fell upon, after which the trio was referred to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The injured were identified as Shahid Ahmed Lone, Sabzar Ahmed Lone both sons of Abdul Rehman Lone and Nazir Ahmed Lone, son of Sanaullah Lone, all resident of Durpora area in Khiram.
A Police official while speaking to The Kashmiriyat said that Sabzar Ahmed Lone succumbed to his injuries, while the two others have been shifted to District Hospital, Anantnag for treatment.
