A bike rider died in a road accident in the Achabal area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district after a speedy vehicle hit the bike.
An official told The Kashmiriyat that on Monday afternoon, a speedy vehicle hit a two-wheeler in the Achabal area, causing on-the-spot death to the rider.
The body of the deceased was shifted to the sun district hospital in Achabal for medico-legal formalities.
Officials identified the deceased as Gull Mohd Ganie Son of Ali Mohd Ganie, a resident of Tailwani at Trahpoo Achabal.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance and started an investigation.
