A shopkeeper was shot dead by unknown gunmen in Tral area of Pulwama, while a Sumo driver was shot at on Thursday evening in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Officials speaking to The Kashmiriyat said that one Muhammad Ayoub Ahanger, son of Ghulam Ahmad Ahanger of Tral was fired upon by the unknown gunmen, leaving him severely wounded.
He was taken to a nearby hospital where doctors declared him dead on arrival.

The area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers, the official said.
Meanwhile, in another incident, a sumo driver identified as Muhammad Aslam Wani (30) of Wanpora Pulwama was injured after he was shot at by unknown gunmen in his native in Kakpora belt of South Kashmir.
