Ouster of Abdullahs, Mufti’s vital for Jammu Kashmir, says Ram Madhav

Senior BJP leader and campaign in-charge for Jammu and Kashmir, Ram Madhav, asserted on Wednesday that the removal of the Abdullah, Mufti, and Gandhi families from Jammu Kashmir’s political landscape is crucial for the growth of democracy in the region.

Addressing a public rally in Gurez, in support of BJP candidate Faqir Mohammad Khan, Madhav emphasized, “Prime Minister Modi has established peace in J&K and eradicated terrorism. However, the NC-Congress alliance seeks to revive unrest and terrorism.”

Madhav accused the National Conference and Congress of pushing to reinstate Article 370, which he claimed would lead to further destruction in the region. “For democracy and peace to truly flourish in J&K, these dynastic parties must be ousted,” he remarked.

He further praised Prime Minister Modi for bringing grassroots democracy to the region and fostering an era of development and stability.

“The previous rule by these families has only led to the exploitation of J&K, and freedom from their control is essential for lasting peace and continued development.”

BJP General Secretary Ashok Koul also expressed confidence that the people of J&K stand behind Modi’s development agenda. He emphasized, “Only the BJP can ensure peace and a prosperous future for Jammu and Kashmir.”

Dr. Darakhshan Andrabi, Chairperson of the Waqf Board, lauded Modi’s leadership, stating that stone-pelting and terrorism have given way to peace and a boom in tourism under his governance.

BJP Secretary Tariq Keen and Gurez candidate Faqir Mohammad Khan also addressed the gathering, urging the public to vote for BJP to continue the region’s development.
