Two militants and a civilian were killed in Amshipora area of South Kashmir’s Shopian district on Friday, Inspector General Of Police Kashmir Vijay Kumar said. "Based on a specific input of police about the presence of (militants) in village Amshipora, Shopian, a joint operation was launch during the late night of 24/25-02-2022," IGP said in a statement to GNS, adding, "After a cluster of houses were taken into cordon, following the drill civilians were evacuated to safety. Jammu Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha’s car met with an accident in Varanasi town of Uttar Pradesh on Friday, media reports said. Sinha was on way to this hometown Ghazipur from Varanasi.
