Locals from Safa Kadal area of Srinagar city Saturday said that they are witnessing mobile internet shutdown on daily basis from 3 pm onwards for the past 4 months. The locals mostly students told news agency Kashmir News Trust that this unannounced outage has badly hit their studies. “Internet service gets off at 3 every day and then is restored after 9 in the evening. Two persons were killed while two others sustained injuries in a road accident that took place at Thanda Paddar on highway near Udhampur. Police, officials told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that a vehicle turned turtle on highway and four persons travelling in it got injured. They all were shifted to the hospital where two among them succumbed to their injuries and two others are undergoing treatment.
