The Taliban on Monday morning claimed the control over several areas, including the former stronghold of Kandahar. 'Geo News' in its report quoting officials has said that the Taliban have captured Panjwai district after a fierce clash with the security forces of Afghanistan. Panjwai district was captured two days after US and NATO forces evacuated their main Bagram Air Base near Kabul.
