
Jammu Kashmir Police on Friday launched a large-scale crackdown on suspected militant associates in south Kashmir’s Shopian district, officials said.
According to Kashmir Bulletin(KB), massive search operations were carried out at the residences of over a dozen individuals believed to be linked to various terror-related cases.
The searches are part of ongoing investigations into recent incidents and are aimed at tracing any possible links to active militants or unlawful activities, an official said.
Similarly, Handwara Police also conducted a search at the residence of a member of the banned Jamaat-e-Islami (JeI) in north Kashmir.
Officials said the operations are being conducted with appropriate legal permissions and are connected to multiple ongoing cases under investigation.(KB).
