They added that Panzath is one of the most populous village of the area and has historical importance due to Panzath lake and most people in the area are associated with horticulture sector who are suffering for want of ATM in the area.

“There is J&K Bank unit in the village which caters to Panzath, Wanpora, Drinan and Levdora villages but there are no ATM facilities in these villages who have to go for around 2 KMS to reach nearest ATM in the area, they said.

“Most of the customers prefer to carry ATM and Credit cards for transactions. However, they face inconvenience due to lack of ATM facility in the area,” they said, adding that “Similarly, residents of Drusoo area said that there is need of ATM at bus stand Drusoo and mega stand has been established two years now but there is no ATM facility available there.”
