Pattan police on Wednesday recovered an abducted girl and arrested the accused involved in the crime in Palhallan Pattan area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
As per reports reaching to Kashmir News Service (KNS) One person (name with held) reported in Police Station Pattan and stated that his daughter, (name with held) was kidnapped by Mohmmad Afzal Chopan (Bilal) son of Gh Hassan Chopan Resident of Palhallan pattan
Official Sources Told (KNS) that On receipt of this information, a case was registered in Police Station Pattan, Subsequently SDPO Pattan Mohmmad Nawaz Khanday constituted a team headed by Do Palhallan Sub Insp. Aaeraf and the investigation was initiated.
However After hectic efforts, Pattan police recovered the girl and arrested the accused in Hajin Bandipora.
The girl was handed over to the family after completion all the legal formalities. they said
Meanwhile A case FIR number 273/22 under section 366 was registered and further investigation was going on.(KNS)
