A plantation drive was held at 21 FAD Ammunition Depot in Khandroo of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district by Jammu Kashmir forest Division in Anantnag.
On the occasion, the Forest Chief Conservator Mr. Deva, DFO Anantnag, Feroz Ahmad, in collaboration with 21 FAD Depot Khandroo Station commander, Mohammad Amanullah Khan attended and held the plantation drive.
Other Army officers of Khandroo Depot and students from schools and staff members of the institutes participated in the event.
The drive was held for the purpose of giving an awareness to people about importance of green gold.
