Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate two significant projects during his upcoming visit to Kashmir on Thursday.

According to officials, the integrated development of the Hazratbal Shrine project and the Sonamarg ski drag lift will be inaugurated by the Prime Minister from Bakshi Stadium on March 7.

The Hazratbal Khanqah, revered as one of the most sacred Muslim Khanqahs in Kashmir, has undergone development under the Pilgrimage Rejuvenation And Spiritual Augmentation Drive (PRASAD).

Meanwhile, the ski drag lift at Sonamarg in Ganderbal district aims to enhance tourist activity in the region.

Both projects will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Modi through virtual mode.

Additionally, the Prime Minister will unveil 42 new tourist destinations and launch nine tourism projects, along with initiating the ‘Chalo India’ campaign for the Indian diaspora worldwide.

Furthermore, he will personally hand over appointment letters to 1,000 job aspirants and engage with beneficiaries of various schemes at the district level through virtual platforms.

During his visit, Prime Minister Modi will also inaugurate a holistic agriculture development program and attend an exhibition featuring agri-entrepreneurs.

This marks Prime Minister Modi’s second visit to Jammu Kashmir in as many months, following his recent trip to the Jammu region where he inaugurated several development projects and addressed a public rally.
