Intense clashes had erupted in the locality early morning, despite which thousands of people gathered at the Eid gah of Janglat Mandi where Mirwaiz Qazi Yasir addressed the Muslim believers.

Mirwaiz Qazi Yasir in his speech called the dialogue a mere rhetoric and said that people of Kashmir are being used as a fodder to politics of BJP at the center.

He also said that people of Kashmir stand by the flood hit people of Kerala and announced that he will collect relief and donations for the people of Kerala.

“There are people in India who celebrate the death of Kashmiris, who rejoice when Kashmiri blood falls down, but we will show the world, we have been humane and are not enemies of a common Indian, even though we have been busy with protecting the special status of Jammu Kashmir, but we will make sure that we do our best to help the people of Kerala,” he said.
