The Jammu Kashmir Police on Sunday claimed to have destroyed bhang cultivation spread on about 8 kanals of land in the Sangam area of South Kashmir’s Islamabad (Anantnag) District.
The Police said that a on the direction of Senior Superintendent of Jammu Kashmir Police for District Islamabad (anantnag), a team headed by SHO Bijbehara under the supervision of SDPO Bijbehara destroyed bung cultivation spread on about 08 Kanlas of land at Semthan Sangam.
The residents of the area appreciated the Police for its action and have wished to continue the drive in the area.
