Police issue traffic advisory for Baramulla on eve of 25th Muharram procession

The Jammu Kashmir Police in Baramulla Police on Tuesday issued a fresh traffic advisory, for 25th Muharram, i.e tomorrow 24th August-2022.

According to a fresh traffic advisory order issued by Baramulla Police reads that the traffic movement on Srinagar-Baramulla national highway shall remain affected w.e.f 1300 hrs upto 1900 hrs from Harthrat to Narbal).

“General Public is requested to kindly avoid unnecessary movement on Baramulla- Srinagar Highway. Medical emergencies will be allowed”, reads the order copy.

“Traffic diversion Plan on Srinagar-Baramulla national highway medium motor/light motor vehicles.”

“Route plan for north Kashmir-based vehicles towards Srinagar. Srinagar-bound vehicles from North Kashmir viz Kupwara-Handwara & Sopore will move via Hygam to Sumbal to HMT. Vehicles from Baramulla, Uri will move from Hamrey Gate, Pattan to Sumbal to HMT Srinagar,” the press release reads.

“Route plan for Hamrey- Pattan based vehicles towards Srinagar; Vehicles from Hamrey, Pattan will move to Srinagar via Hartarth Bridge to Khanpath to Shadipora to HMT Srinagar.” it reads.

“Route plan for Srinagar based vehicles towards Baramulla; Heavy motor vehicles moving towards North Kashmir from Srinagar will move via Narbal, Magam turn right near SDPO office Magam to Kungumdara to Khore to Hanjiwara to Pattan,” it reads.

“Light vehicles moving towards North Kashmir from Srinagar will move to Baramulla via Narbal to Kanihama to Nooripora to Archanderhama to Gund Khoja Qasim, Jeel Bridge to Pattan,” reads the order copy.
