A sub-inspector was arrested from the Sirigufwara area of Anantnag district in South Kashmir on Friday afternoon by the Anti-corruption bureau.
An official told The Kashmiriyat that a team headed by DYSP Parvaiz Ahmad caught red-handed Sub-inspector Ghulam Mohammed, belt number 2956/S posted at Police Station in Srigufwara along with bribe money of Rs 7000.
The ACB has received a complaint from a person named Mohammed Amin Ganie Son of Abdul Ahad Resident of Darigund Srigufwara.
The official said that a case FIR No. 07/2021 stands registered at ACB Police station.
