Abdul Gani Madhosh, a prominent educationist from Srinagar has passed away in Kashmir.
Locals told The Kashmiriyat that the renowned educationist and former dean faculty of education and director state resource centre in University of Kashmir, Dr Abdul Gani Madhosh passed away following a brief illness residence in Srinagar on Saturday morning.
Professor Madhosh has made significant contributions to education policy and planning, having played crucial roles at both the state and national levels.
His death has been widely condoled and people from all the sections of the society are visiting his residence in large numbers.
He will be laid to rest at his ancestral graveyard in Kashmir capital.
