The students of Central University of Kashmir (CUK) staged a protest demonstrations against the arrest of two post-graduate students in Nowgam campus on Satuday.
Students told The Kashmiriyat that Scores of students of CUK Nowgam assembled in the campus on Saturday demanding the release of two political science students Suhail Ahmad and Mohammad Ismail.
They said that the duo were arrested by government forces during a nocturnal raid on Friday from their rented accommodation in Nowgam locality of Srinagar.
Both the students hail from Shopian district of south Kashmir.
