Protests held in US to condemn ‘Ongoing atrocities’ against Muslims in India

Hundreds of people staged a protest in front of the United States on Saturday against the “ongoing atrocities” against Muslims in India.

Calling for an end to the atrocities, the participants gathered outside the Indian embassy in New York in large numbers and demanded punishment for the BJP leaders who insulted the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

In Houston too, people came out in large numbers to protest the attacks on the honor of #Prophet Muhammad and massacres of Muslims in India.

Another protest is scheduled on Sunday at 2 PM (local time) in Chicago in front of the Indian consulate.

Pertinently, there has been an international outrage over former BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma’s insulting remarks on Prophet Muhammad.
