Pulwama Journalists Federation Holds Protest Over Killing of Danish Siddiqui

Pulwama Journalists Federation (PJF) on Saturday evening held a candle light protest in memory of late Danish Siddiqui, Pulitzer winning photojournalist.

Siddiqui, lost his life reportedly in clashes between Aghan Taliban and Afgan Military on Friday, 16, July 2021 in Spin Boldak district of Kandhar when he was on an assignment for Reuters.

Nisar Ul Haq, PJF president and members during the meeting extended sincerest condolences to his bereaved family.

During the meeting, it was remembered how bold and brave Siddiqui used to show truth through his lens. The meeting concluded with special prayers for the slain soul and patience to the bereaved family—(KNO)
