Ready to contest upcoming assembly elections in Jammu Kashmir: BJP

State General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Koul who is on 3-Day tour to Kashmir had a meeting with the BJP leaders regarding the progress of the activities going on, Koul said we are ready to contest the upcoming assembly elections in Jammu Kashmir while he chaired a crucial meeting of senior party leaders to plan its strategy for upcoming Assembly polls at Srinagar.

According to a statement issued here, Koul also reviewed the overall situation arisen in the aftermath of recent snowfall in the Valley, and also stated that in this regard a review meeting with the party’s main leaders.

They were asked to make a survey all over the Kashmir of the left out deserving people who could not take the benefits of these schemes till date and frame their list to furnish the same to party higher ups in the Kashmir.

Koul said that India is a nation of the youth who constitute major component of the population and same is the case with the BJP which accords priority to youth. He said BJP sacredly follows the principle of ‘Nation First, Party Second and Self Last’ as a result of which it has established its stronghold in every nook and corner of the Union Territory.

Koul while addressing the meeting encouraged the senior leaders of the party to work on the booth level in view of upcoming Assembly elections. He asked them to reach booth-level workers and strengthen the party at ground level. He asked them to devote their dedicated time to their respective booths and allotted areas to gear up the party activities.
