A residential house was gutted in an accidental fire at Herpora of Fatehpora area in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Friday afternoon.
Eyewitnesses told The Kashmiriyat that fire broke out in the residential house of Mohammad Hussain Malik on Thursday afternoon after which fire tenders reached the spot and douse the flames but could not save the rooftop of the building from being turned into ashes.
The fire was brought under control with the hectic efforts of the fire service team, locals, and police.
A police officer said that police is verifying the incident. “No loss of life or any other injury was reported in the fire mishap,” he told The Kashmiriyat.
The reason was caused by a Short Circuit.
