A schoolboy from Baramulla on picnic drowned to death in Sonmarg area of central Kashmir Ganderbal district on Saturday.
An official told news agency—Kashmir Scroll that a student at Public School Baramulla who was on picnic with school drowned in river at while talking bath.
He said that boy identified as Shoaib Farooq Chachi (14) son of Farooq Ahmad Chachi resident of Chandousa Baramulla was taken to PHC Sonmarg where Doctors declared him brought dead.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident and started investigation—(KS)
