TMBS(Traders and manufacturers Body) of shopian has called for shopian Bandh on 20 November against authorities not to provide basic facilities during the ‘harsh winter’.
Speaking to The Kashmiriyat the members of the body said that the Government has failed to provide basic amenities of people of Shopian during the harsh winter.

“Electricity, Water is cut off in many villages and apple orchards have suffered heavy damage in the recent snowfall, however the Government has done nothing in this regard despite repeated request from the general public,” a member told.
Residents of more than ten villages including Reshipora, Wachi, Bapora, Harmain, Zainapor and Manihal speaking to The Kashmiriyat complained of acute water problem other than shortage of fuel and electricity.
