The preacher from south Kashmir who had been missing since the last week has been found dead in the Zirpoara area of south Kashmir’s Shopian district.
Earlier the family of one Mohammad Ashraf Shah, son of Abdul Aziz Shah resident of Behbagh Kulgam had said that Ashraf had gone missing from his home on Friday morning.
“He left home but didn’t come back until now. We have been trying to call him constantly since. The Police also traced the location of his phone and reached the spot of the location, but to no avail” the family member had said.
The family members had appealed to him to return back.
Earlier on Monday, Locals informed the police about the laying of the body along the banks of the Jhelum. Soon, they said, a police party rushed to the spot and recovered the body.
