They Promised us Autonomy, Said Sky is the Limit, but Nothing Happened: Farooq Abdullah

Two days after meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi, Farooq Abdullah reached at his residence in Srinagar where he spoke to the media first time since this meeting was held.

Farooq Abdullah said the meeting with PM was very nice and it was held in very cordial atmosphere, where all party’s put forth their point of view on the Jammu Kashmir situation.

He said that this was the first step towards the betterment of Jammu Kashmir.

“Now I have to sit and discuss certain things with my party and Gupkar alliance, after which I will come back to you and share further,” said the Senior Andullah.

“I made it very clear in the meeting with PM that first Prime Minister of India had promised us plebiscite but went back on it. Narsimha Rao ji promised us Autonomy and said sky is the limit but nothing happened. I told them there is mistrust between Delhi and Jammu Kashmir and it’s upto you how you remove that mistrust or they continue with that mistrust,” he told the media.
