As Government started the third – phase of back – to – village program (B2V3) in Jammu Kashmir, the inhabitants of Chattergul area of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district have expressed strong resentment against the authorities for failing to – macadamise the Kashnambal – Chattergul road.

As per them the condition of the road from Kashnambal to main town Chattergul is very bad due to which the population is facing problems. They said their village did not witness any benefit of the last two phases of back – to – village.

A local resident told The Kashmiriyat, that the link road from Kashnambal to Chattergul are in dilapidated condition from last three years and so far concerned department has not taken any measure issue to sought out it due to which locals are facing several problems.

According to him if he has repeatedly asked the administration to issue orders for mechanization on this dilapitated road but unfortunately the R&B department always tries to say us that the PMGSY department will mechdamize the road and look into the matter.

Another local resident Abdul Rasheed speaking to The Kashmiriyat said that in last two phases of Back – to – village, he had made a self – resolution in which according to him, apart from other development works of the area, some are always written for mechanization on this dilapidated road but nothing is being done on ground level till now.

He said now the third phase of Back – to – Village (B2V3) has started and he is once again demanding the administration to take orders to lay down mechanization on this decadent road so that they do not face further difficulties.

He said that passenger vehicles are greatly damaged by plying on this road and they are now avoiding coming towards the area.
