Thousands of people on Saturday reached Harmain and Arhama Localities of Shopian district to participate in the funeral prayers of two Local Hizb affiliates who were killed in an encounter with Government Forces in Shopian district.
Locals told The Kashmiriyat that thousands of people defying restrictions thronged the native of Showkat Ahmad Sheikh of Harmain Shopian and a recently recruited militant, Yasir Ahmad Shah of Arhama Shopian to attend the funeral of the slain Militant.

Locals said that the body of both the slain were recovered from the encounter site in Imam Sahib area of Shopian on Friday morning.
A group of militants appeared in the funeral and fired aerial shots to pay homage to the slain militant, Locals told The Kashmiriyat.
Meanwhile, a complete shutdown is being observed in Shopian District to mourn the killing of two Local Militants.
