Three areas of Kulgam district in South Kashmir including Bogund, Laroo, and Khanpora Yaripora Check have been declared as micro containment zones.
The move came after at least 35 persons were tested positive in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Tuesday, while as the Kashmir valley recorded a total of 2030 cases.
The Deputy commissioner of Kulgam has issued a notification asking shoppers to open their shops on a rotatory basis.
Meanwhile, on Wednesday morning, DC Kulgam Dr. Bilal Bhat, accompanied by officers of Distt Admin, inspected the market in the main town of the district Kulgam.
He monitored Covid 19 situations and ensured that people were following the covid protocol.
He urged the people to follow SOPs, wearing masks and maintaining social distancing.
