Three Militants have been killed during an encounter has started between militants and Government forces in the Mandoora area of Tral in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Friday.
An official confirming the exchange of gunfire to The Kashmiriyat said that 42 Rashtriya Rifles of Indian Army, Jammu Kashmir Police and CRPF jointly laid a siege in Mandoora area of Tral.
He said that the cordon was laid after the forces had received a tip-off about Militant movements in the area.
As soon as the forces launched the searches, the Militants opened fire on them to which the forces responded.
All the entry and exit points to the area have been sealed, sources said, adding “Three Militants have been killed at the site of the encounter.
