Two militants have been killed during the encounter that broke out between government forces and militants in the Chak Tapper Kreeri area of Baramulla district in north Kashmir.
Sources from The Kashmiriyat that on Friday and intense gunfight ensued after security forces cordoned off the area, suspecting the presence of two to three militants.
As of Saturday morning, two militants have been confirmed killed in the ongoing operation.
The situation remains tense, with security forces continuing their efforts to secure the area.
