Three persons died on Friday in a road accident near the Sikh Bridge in the Teetwall area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
An official told The Kashmiriyat that a Swift car (JK03F 5801) was involved in the accident, resulting in the deaths of all three occupants at the scene.
The deceased have been identified as Farooz Ahmad Pala, 45, son of Ab Salam Palla, a resident of Seer Hamdan, Anantnag; Nazeer Ahmad Magary, 55, son of Mohd Sultan Magary, a resident of Mulsoo; and Mushtaq Ahmad, 50, son of Gh Nabi Khan, a resident of Anantnag.
Local residents rushed the victims to a hospital, where doctors declared them dead on arrival.
The Station House Officer (SHO) of Karnah confirmed the accident and stated that an investigation is underway.
